Kohukohu School
Our Kura is unique in that fact that it we are a mainstream school but work from Te Marautanga o Aotearoa, the school curriculum for Maori Medium Schools.
We have our school based curriculum document "Te Marautanga o Kohukohu" which includes, values, attitudes and principles from Te Marautanga.
We work from the learning areas of the NZ curriculum document.

Kohukohu Playcentre
Our Centre is situated on the Northern Shores of the Hokianga Harbour in the Historic village of Kohukohu.
This was one of the first areas of settlement for both Maori and European settlers. It is known for being the "Heart of Hokianga".
Children that attend our centre come from varied ethnic backgrounds.
0-6 year olds welcome. Children will attend with a caregiver
